Hi! I’m Meghan. I’ve been knitting and crocheting for over 6 years now, and I’ve dabbled in cross stitching and sewing (although with much less success). My experience may be limited, but I feel like I’ve grown so much since my first plain knit scarf!
As for my personal life, I live in a teeny house way out in the boonies. (Or, as the locals like to call it, the Pine Barrens.) We’ve got a what I consider a decent plot of land (1.5 acres) that I can’t wait to plant full of flowers and vegetables. 🙂
In addition to crafting with yarn, I also spend lots of time with my children, Eva, Kirsi, and Ronan. They are three, two, and 8 months respectively, and they keep me very, very busy. I am very much looking forward to when they’re old enough to knit. I hope they enjoy it as much as I do!
My kids have been the recipients of most of my projects, but I’ve started to include others (and myself!) in my pool of potential recipients. Baby knits are just so addicting! I’m a huge fan of instant gratification, if that wasn’t made obvious in my posts. 😛
I’m hoping this blog will serve as a means to keep my family and my knitting friends up to date on our activities and my crafting progress.
As of early 2015, I’ve entered into the world of bow making. I sell my wares on my business page, Darbees. Check me out!
