Knotty Gloves – Second Progress Report

I finished a finger!

As I expected, gloves are a bit fiddly to knit. They are extra fiddly if you knit them with black yarn, methinks. I’m hoping the second glove will take less time since I’m constantly stopping to check length with this first glove. I’ve been recording how many rounds I’ve knit for each section on my project page so I don’t have to check when I make the second one.

The knitting has been going surprisingly smoothly. The only thing that’s bothering me is the little holes that are developing between the fingers. I hate holes. I’m going to have to close them, and I’m afraid that doing so will create bulk between the fingers. I’ll keep you updated on how that goes.
